Ulrich Museum: Virtually every city and town has its important works of art—very little that was movable was lost in the war—and some of the finest works are not necessarily in the chief cities of tourism, though they too are rich. Without neglecting Berlin, Diisseldorf, Hamburg, Hannover, Cologne, Munich, Niirnberg and so forth, don't overlook Trier, for its Roman and early medieval art, Dortmund, for its German paintings now in Schloss Cappenberg, and Braunschweig (Brunswick), for its Herzog Anton Ulrich Museum.
