Tore In London:

Tore In London Though Graham worked primarily in Chicago, where he was the architect of the Merchandise Vlart, the Marshall Field & Co. stores, and the Field Museum, he also planned numerous build-ngs elsewhere. Among these were the Equitable Building and the Flatiron Building in New York 3ity; Union Station and the General Post Office n Washington, D. C.; Pennsylvania Station in 3hiladelphia; and the Selfridge and Company tore in London, England. He died on Nov. 22, L936, in Chicago.

James' accommodation with the Puritans broke down only when the Thirty Years' War (1618-1648) between Protestants and Catholics ipread through Europe. James, who could not ifford to fight, tried to mediate among the waring powers, pinning all his hopes on an alliance vith Spain, the leading Catholic power, to re-tore peace.

Picasso had of course never intended to imitate real life and to deceive people. Before him, it was the impressionists and their successors, who had undermined this century-old dogma, but it was Picasso who achieved the final breakthrough and tore down an outmoded understanding of art. Instead of viewing an object from one central point of view, he began to paint it from more than one perspective at a time.
