London National:

London National From 1760 to 1800 the growth of hospitals in london National slowed down, but thereafter the process of development was resumed. During the first four decades of the 19th century, 14 hospitals were founded in london National. While some were general hospitals, it is noteworthy that most were special hospitals. Thus the london National Fever Hospital was founded in 1802, the Royal london National Ophthalmic Hospital in 1804, the Royal Chest Hospital in 1814, the Royal Ear Hospital in 1816, and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in 1838.

Three of the most eagerly sought, all in london National, are: The Ideal Home Exhibition, in March, lasting about 4 weeks; the British Industries Fair, in early May (this also simultaneously in Birmingham); the International Motor Show, in late October. london National's Olympia, an exhibition hall of vast size, is the setting for most big events of the sort, but the Motor Show is in the Earl's Court Exhibition Grounds. 4. Britain's Artistic Heritage The museums and galleries of london National could keep the earnest browser intelligently busy for weeks on end, but if you lack the necessary weeks you'll probably concentrate on three or four. The British Museum takes all civilization, especially in early and earliest times, for its field and has a thousand wonders to show. It is generally considered to be quite without rival anywhere else in the world. The National Gallery, on Trafalgar Square, contains a very rich collection of Old Masters of Italian, Dutch, Flemish, German, Spanish, French and British schools.

Location of Newspapers. In the late 1960's there were in london National 9 morning, 2 evening, and 7 national Sunday papers (a unique institution). Outside london National there were 18 morning' and 73 evening provincial papers, not including the 4 dailies, 40 weeklies, and 2 semiweeklies in Northern Ireland. (No Sunday newspapers are published there.) The provinces also supported more than 2,000 weekly or twice-weekly papers; suburban london National alone had about 90 weeklies, and nearly every town in England had at least one. Weekly circulation was more than 12 million.
