Less Camera -conscious:

Less Camera -conscious Adam Clark Vroman, a bookseller in Los between 1895 and 1904 made a moving, sym documentation of the Indians of the American west. His greatest difficulty was caused by casual shooters, who not only got in his way, but had m Indians so Camera conscious that only by befri them and winning their confidence could he take portraits of them.

You may cross without difficulty to or from Norway or Sweden, for the three northern neighbors cooperate to make things easy. Finnish Lapland has its own special charm, an element of which is certainly the 2000 semi-nomad Lapps, who devote their time to fishing and tending their reindeer herds. They seem to be more natural and less Camera -conscious camera-conscious than do the Lapps of Sweden and Norway.

The other course is to plan the picture but to make it seem as natural as possible. This, too, can be very successful, though it calls for some precautions. Guard against too frequent use of the "seethe-birdie" technique; otherwise you may end up with a series of snapshots that simply show your youngster startled into attention. Even when you must get the child's conscious cooperation, it is much better to utilize or to invent situations in which youngsters are really interested. It is usually a bit difficult for them to make-believe when under observation, or when the only object they are aware of is the Camera pointed at them.
