Fine Art And Wines:

Fine Art And Wines Is it fine art and wines wines? Italy is, pre-eminently, a wine country, though admittedly not another France. It has a considerable number of fine art and wines wines that are all its own and its popular wines are as popular with tourists as with natives. (We shall have a look at the subject later.)

Austrian wines are good and varied. Some of the well-loved names and don't let their polysyllables throw you—are Klosterneuburger, red or white types; Voslauer, red; Gumpoldskirchner, Nussdorfer, Rieslinger Veltliner, Traminer and Hohenwarther, all white. Of the last two, the Former is a bit heavy, the latter light. And above all, know about the Heuriger wines of Grinzing, served in the cheerful little wine gardens of the Vienna suburb of that name. Heuriger wines are new wines. They nay seem maidenly mild but they presently make you merry, and then watch out. Go easy at Grinzing.

George, centuries ago, has a mellow charm all its own and its Restaurant Bienen is widely known for fine art and wines food and a lavish cellar. Its director is one of Holland's leading wine experts, called by French hoteliers Le Nez du Pays-Bos (The Nose of the Netherlands), because of his olfactory expertness in judging fine art and wines wines. Other excellent Hague hotels are the Hotel des Indes and the Central.
